The bloodborne pathogens program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others.
This program is intended for individuals who are trained as a CPR or First Aid provider, or have an identified job classification in which there are tasks or procedures that increase the risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens. There are no class prerequisites.
The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29CFR 1910.1030).
